Application Instructions – Laloo Cosmetics Acrylic 5g Kit
Step 1: Nail Preparation
- Ensure the nail plate is clean, free of cuticles and hangnails, and gently buffed using a 150/180 Laloo Cosmetics file.
- Cleanse the natural nail with a lint-free pad soaked in pure acetone.
- Apply a sufficient amount of Anti-Fungal to the entire natural nail.
- Clean again using a lint-free pad with pure acetone.
- Apply No Acid Primer-Bonder to the entire nail surface (cuticle to free edge), avoiding the cuticles and lateral folds.
- Primer is essential for proper adhesion!
Step 2: Acrylic Application
- Apply Laloo Cosmetics nail forms for the desired nail shape.
- Pour a small amount of Acrylic Liquid into a Dappen Dish and prepare your brush.
- Pick up the acrylic bead: Dip the brush into the liquid, then lightly press it into the acrylic powder to form a smooth, translucent ball.
- For camouflage or white powders, the bead will appear opaque with an “orange peel” texture.
Step 3: Nail Sculpting
- Begin building the acrylic nail in three zones:
Zone 1 – Free edge
Zone 2 – Stress area
Zone 3 – Cuticle area (avoid touching the cuticles!) - Ensure the Apex is well-formed for a strong and balanced nail structure.
- Allow the acrylic to dry for approximately 10 minutes.
Step 4: Shaping & Finishing
- File and refine the nail shape using a 150/180 Grit Laloo Cosmetics file.
- Complete the look with: Gel color for a polished finish, or Top Coat, Non-Wipe Top Coat, or Non-Wipe Matte Top Coat for a sleek final touch.
Pro Tip: Achieving the perfect liquid-to-powder ratio is key for a smooth, professional finish—practice until your bead has the ideal consistency!
